Oil I've caught.

I had installed an oil catch can in the Soul incorrectly and the pcv valve was toast. With a new valve and correct routing of the hoses I managed to catch this much oil in a month. I am going to see how long it takes to fill this jar.

When I had the Soul at the dealership for them to check the oil consumption they said to me, “I see you have installed an oil catch can, what’s that for?”

“To ... catch oil?” I responded not sure what else to say. This seemed to satisfy them.

Nice oil collection. I get a lot of water in mine because I do a lot of short trips. If it gets too full I give the intake an accidental  steam cleaning.

pretty much just throw chilli peppers in olive oil and leave them in the bottle so the oil takes on the heat

can add herbs n spices for flavours

its not very difficult... just on my list of things ill do tomorow

That seems like it’d be easy to cross off the list. If you’re into that kind of stuff (and I am)

Mmmmmmm, I add red pepper flakes and a bit of citrus peel for some extra zest and kick. I need to make my own sweet chili sauce soon. The thai place near me makes the best stuff. It can make plain chicken breasts taste amazing - drizzle some of the sauce on top of each piece in the last 10-15 minutes of cooking so you get a bit of glaze, and then top with some crushed peanuts or cashews.

.....Dammit, I’m hungry now.
